Prejudicial Politics Versus The Childless People & Cat People Vote

According to an article published by USA Today on Tuesday (7/23/2024), here, the Internet is quite abuzz over a resurfaced archived video of an interview between Fox News Channel (aka Fake News Channel) commentator Tucker Carlson and, at the time, US Senate candidate JD Vance back in 2021 (image;screenshot via USA Today article).

The article reports about how JD Vance was "criticizing Harris and other Democrats as 'childless cat ladies.'"

One is left wondering, even if someone were a "childless cat lady", what is wrong with that (image; screenshot, taken from a post recently posted to Threads)?

In addition, the article continues, "Vance also argued in the interview that people without children don't have a 'direct stake' in the future of this country."

It seems odd that back in 2021, during the race for the US Senate, JD Vance basically ran against Kamala Harris as well as "childless cat ladies" or otherwise "people without children" rather than his Democratic opponent in the race. 

Aren't there Republicans as well as Independents who are either "childless cat ladies" or otherwise 'people without children"?

However, now that JD Vance is the Republican Vice Presidential candidate, alongside Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, such highly sexist as well as homophobic prejudices and vicious statements against certain groups of people, among several others, who either could be or already are subjected to various forms of discrimination across all levels of society, should be of grave concern to every free-thinking independent-minded voter no matter what their political affiliation.

From my point of view, as an Independent-minded voter, a vote for Harris in 2024 is a vote for what are urgent matters of conscience, human and civil rights, democratic principles as well as values versus the rather scary, undemocratic and vicious politics of bigotry, demagoguery, hate and prejudice.

Therefore, Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris will be receiving the vote of Miss Cleo's human in the upcoming 2024 general election.

Regarding the plan by Governor Phil Scott's administration to host four huge regional, supposedly short-term, congregate homeless shelters across the state,  a question has arisen within my mind about it (rhetorically posed; and, please excuse my bluntness as well as outrage, however), ... Is anyone -- other than myself -- asking how much $$$ this, for the lack of a better or more appropriate term, * pure baloney * er, absurd plan will cost and where all the funds will come from ❓❗ If not, I sure wish someone would ask and try to get an honest answer from whomever can best provide it, sooner rather than later.
